Planning a Gaming Van Party in Buckinghamshire

Out in the Chilterns, parties look a bit different: longer drives, narrower lanes and the odd patchy phone signal. None of it's a problem with a bit of notice.

01

Country Lanes & Long Drives

A long gravel drive is fine, as long as there's a flat, level spot about 9 metres long at the end. The van is only slightly wider than a Range Rover. If your lane is narrow or your drive is steep, send us a photo of where you'd like us to park when you enquire.

02

Village Halls & Recreation Grounds

Hiring a village hall, cricket pavilion or school? We park in the car park and the kids head out to the van. For a village green or recreation ground, check with whoever runs it first. We'll send our public liability insurance and DBS certificates on request.

03

Patchy Signal? No Problem

The van runs on its own 4G and 5G connection. If mobile signal is weak where you are, we can plug into your router instead with our 25 metre ethernet cable. Power-wise, all we need is one plug socket within 25 metres.

04

Picking Your Date

Weekends go first, so book early if you need a Saturday. Monday to Thursday parties start from £175, with a latest start time of 7pm. Bank holidays are charged at weekend rates.

Gaming Van Hire in Buckinghamshire: Your Questions

What Bucks parents ask us before they book, from narrow lanes to dodgy phone signal.

Is travel free to Buckinghamshire?

Yes, anywhere within 25 miles of Berkhamsted by road. That takes in the Chilterns, Aylesbury, High Wycombe and Marlow. Milton Keynes and the north of the county sit around the limit, so send us your postcode and we'll confirm before you book.

Can the van get down a narrow country lane?

Usually, yes. The van is only slightly wider than a Range Rover. What matters most is a flat, level spot about 9 metres long to park on. If you're unsure, send us a photo of your lane or drive when you enquire.

What if there's no phone signal at our house?

The van has its own 4G and 5G connection, but if the signal's weak we can plug into your broadband router using our 25 metre ethernet cable.

Can we have it at a village hall or school?

Yes, as long as there's flat parking and a plug socket within 25 metres. If the venue asks, we'll send proof of our public liability insurance and our team's DBS certificates.

Can we choose which games they play?

Yes. There are plenty of games on board, and you set the age rating for the party. A 12 rating, for example, allows Fortnite. You can also ask us to include or block specific games.

What ages and how many children?

Our children's parties are for ages 7 to 15. Each van fits up to 10 players at once. VR is played just outside the van, where there's room to move.

What do we need to do on the day?

Very little. Ask guests to arrive 10 to 15 minutes early, keep food and drink in the house rather than the van, and let our host run the rest. We need 15 to 20 minutes to park and set up.

How does booking work?

Send us your date and postcode and we'll reply within 24 hours. A £100 deposit holds your date, and the balance is due a week before. If plans change, you can move your date once with at least two weeks' notice.

Is Your Date Free?

Send us your date and postcode and we'll check availability for you. We reply within 24 hours, and a £100 deposit secures your party.
